School-based behavioral health counseling
SMS is thankful to be able to offer the resource of a school-based behavioral health counselor through the Calvert County Health Department.
In order to refer a student to our school-based behavioral health counselor you will need to complete a referral form and send it into the counseling office.
The school-based behavioral health counselor can speak to students about concerns such as: stress, relationships, family, depression, anxiety, suicide, bullying, drug or alcohol use, body image/eating disorders, and other issues that affect mental and emotional health.
If you would like a referral form for this service please see one of the SMS counselors.
